For Shoreline this year, I wanted to highlight the iconic Mackinac Bridge. It’s one thing to know that a bridge big enough to connect the lower and upper peninsulas exists, it’s quite another to actually see it. I’ve been up to it a couple times on a bike and the scale is just unreal. The waves in the background represent the wind across the straights and that subtle sway you might feel as you drive across.
